She gave us an estimate of the sale price and a marketing plan at the first meeting for our approval and never deviated from it. She brought a team of professionals (stagers, filmmakers, vendors) to ensure the house was positioned correctly in the market. We both sold and bought a house with Jane over a 3-month period. We started by interviewing 3 agents - we selected Jane for her breadth of knowledge and experience coupled with her low-key, no-pressure approach. We decided to buy the house first. Jane set up the alerts at the different sites - it was her alert that found us the house. It came in on a Thursday - by Sunday they had accepted our bid. We had been in our old house for 35 years. Jane suggested that we have the house painted and recarpeted before we put it on the market. It eventually sold for $50,000 over asking. In addition, there were some snags in financing along the way, and Jane's assistant, Lori-Anne, a realtor herself, helped us unsnarl everyone. I strongly encourage you to at least interview Jane as you decide on your realtor. And here's the topper: I told my boss that we were moving and what a help my realtor was.
